Additional Installation Information

The sample content uses Remote Function Adapter (RFA) functions to post the results of the allocation process to SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANA systems. Therefore, you have to customize the RFA function in this sample content with respect to the RFC destination before activating and executing the model.

Procedure

Perform the following customizing steps:

  1. Set up the RFC connection to a targeted SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANA system using transaction code SM59 – Display and Maintain RFC Destinations.

  2. Ensure that the BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST is active in this targeted system.

  3. Ensure that all the organizational units and master data used for the postings exist in this system.

  4. Configure the option RFC Destination on the header of this RFA function for this system. Alternatively, you can specify the RFC destination in the RFA function rules by mapping the control-rfcdest component either to a hard-coded RFC destination value or to a field in your input function containing the RFC destination.
