Enabling a User as Resource Owner for OAuth 2.0

Context

To configure a user as a resource owner for OAuth 2.0, proceed as follows:

Procedure

  1. Start the user maintenance with the transaction SU01.
  2. Choose or enter the user name of the resource owner.
  3. Choose Change.
  4. Go to the Roles tab.
  5. Enter the role you created for OAuth 2.0. It must contain the authorization object S_SCOPE with the OAuth 2.0 relevant clients and scopes.
  6. Save this user.

Results

You have assigned the OAuth 2.0 enabled role to the resource owner's user.
