Planned Change Summaries

The items in this section apply to multiple SAP Concur products and/or services and are summaries of the changes targeted for future releases.

SAP Concur reserves the right to postpone implementation of – or completely remove – any enhancement/change mentioned here.

File Transfer Updates

**Planned Changes** Mandatory SFTP with SSH Key Authentication (Products: Expense, Invoice, Request, Travel, Intelligence)

This release note is intended for technical staff responsible for file transmissions with SAP Concur. For our customers and vendors participating in data exchange through various secure file transfer protocols, SAP Concur is making changes that provide greater security for those file transfers.

Non-SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) protocols and SFTP password authentication will no longer be allowed to connect to SAP Concur products as of April 10, 2021:
  • Existing non-SFTP file transfer accounts need to switch to SFTP with SSH Key Authentication before April 10, 2021.
  • Existing SFTP file transfer accounts that use password authentication must switch to use SSH key authentication before April 10, 2021.
  • SFTP password reset requests require the client to provide an SSH key for authentication.
  • These changes provide greater security for file transfers.

Financial Integration

**Planned Changes** Sage Intacct Integration (US) (Mar 1) (Products: Expense, Invoice)

SAP Concur and Sage are partnering to make accounting for expenses in Sage Intacct easier.

Concur Standard Edition enables participating clients to import Sage Intacct data (source data) into their SAP Concur configuration. This data enables clients to utilize their unique accounting data when entering expenses and/or invoices. The data is updated in SAP Concur regularly. The source data export loads employee and invoice vendors/suppliers from Sage Intacct to SAP Concur during the implementation.

This integration makes it easier for clients to manage their accounting information in both SAP Concur and Sage Intacct.

Miscellaneous

**Planned Changes** Updated Naming Convention for Sub-URLs (Products: Expense, Invoice, Request, Travel)

As part of our overall cloud platform strategy, SAP is planning to implement a more consistent naming convention for the URLs used to connect to SAP Concur solutions, based on data center. Users will continue to be able to access www.concursolution.com and will be routed automatically to the correct URL or single sign-on (SSO) as part of their sign-in process.

This change supports future URL consistency across all global regions, and a central URL that redirects users to the appropriate data center.

**Planned Changes** SAP Concur Homepage Changes (Products: Expense, Invoice, Request, Travel)

Beginning in March, SAP Concur plans to redirect clients in the US Datacenter to a new homepage. The appearance of the new homepage is identical to the current SAP Concur homepage. The new homepage has enhanced functionality when services become temporarily unavailable.

The roll out of the new homepage will be phased. Clients will begin being migrated to the new homepage in March and additional clients will be migrated to the new homepage over time. The migration of clients to the new homepage is targeted to be completed in May 2021.

This change ensures that the SAP Concur homepage is available even when some services are unavailable and improves the consistency of the sign in experience.
