Custom Fields

The Custom Fields page in Product Settings displays custom fields. After reviewing the SAP Concur forms for employee records, expenses, invoices, etc., you might find that some data you need to track is missing. You can add a custom field to these forms to capture that data. For example, if you track your costs by project, you need to add a custom project field to SAP Concur forms to capture the data, since there is no Project field on the SAP Concur forms by default.

On the Custom Fields page, you can add and delete custom fields, define the order in which custom fields display for users, and set visibility options. The visibility options define the following field behaviors:

  • Whether users see the field
  • Which forms the field appears on
  • Whether a visible field can be edited or is read-only
  • Whether a visible field is required or optional

If you have connected SAP Concur to your financial system, some fields on these pages may display different labels or pre-populated values based on your connected financial system.
