Removing Connections to WSRP Producers
Prerequisites

You are assigned to the portal role that contains the Federated Portal workset. By default this is the System Administration role.

You have been assigned at least administrator full-control permission to the WSRP producer object or its folder in the Portal Catalog.

A system administrator in an SAP NetWeaver consumer portal can remove a WSRP connection if it is no longer needed.
When a WSRP connection is removed, all content consumed from the remote WSRP producer in the same registration scope remains on the consumer portal, but becomes invalidated. All personalization settings are lost permanently. If you add the same producer with the same alias, functionality of the invalidated content is not restored.

In the consumer portal, navigate to .

In the Portal Catalog, navigate to the WSRP producer object that represents the WSRP connection to the remote producer portal that you want to remove.

In the context menu of the WSRP producer object, choose Delete .
The WSRP connection is unregistered and removed from your portal.
