Planning-Specific Objects in the Data Warehousing Workbench

Prerequisites

You are in the Modeling functional area in the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction code RSA1).

Procedure

Editing the InfoProvider Aggregation Level

  1. Select the InfoProvider tree. The system displays the InfoProviders in the system as well as the aggregation levels and the underlying InfoProviders.

  2. Navigate to the required aggregation level.

  3. By double-clicking the aggregation level, you can view or edit the definition of the selected aggregation level.

Editing Planning Sequences

  1. Select the planning sequence tree. The system displays all existing planning sequences.

  2. Expand the required planning sequence. The system displays all the filters, planning functions and aggregation levels (including the data flow) that belong to the planning sequence.

  3. Double click on a planning sequence to open the detail view. Here you can view, edit and test the input templates of the planning sequence and the sequence of individual steps.

Editing Planning Functions

  1. To get an overview of the planning functions used by a specific aggregation level, select the Data Flow Upwards function in the InfoProvider tree or planning sequence tree.

  2. Expand the Data Flow Upwards subtree for the required aggregation level.

  3. Double-click the planning function to view the details or to make changes.
