Publishing a Web Service

The ABAP system automatically initiates the task of publishing a Web service. To confirm if a Web service is published, use the following steps:

Procedure

1. Access an ABAP package to select a service provider proxy. For information on accessing an ABAP package, see Accessing an ABAP Package.
2. Expand the Enterprise Services folder.
3. Expand the Service Providers folder.
4. Select a service provider.
5. Open the service provider in the proxy editor.
6. Select the service provider in the proxy editor window.
7. On the top right corner of the editor, click (Configure with SOA Manager).

   The SOA Management page appears.

8. Select the row containing the service provider name.
9. In the SOA Management page, click Show Details.

   The details of the service provider are listed. This ensures that the Web service is published.
