Creating Consumer Mappings

This option allows you to provide consumer mapping details such as project, package, name, Enterprise Services name, Enterprise Services Namespace, prefix, and source proxy details.

Context

Consumer mappings are created to enable communication with a Web Service provider that uses multiple interfaces.

Procedure
  1. Access the Enterprise Services wizard. For information on using the wizard, see Accessing the Enterprise Services Wizard.
  2. Select Consumer Mapping.
  3. Click Next.

    The New Consumer Mapping wizard appears.

  4. Enter the following details:
    • Package name
    • Name
    • SAP enterprise service (ES) Name
    • SAP enterprise service (ES) Namespace
    • Prefix, if required
    • Source proxy details.
  5. Click Next.

    The Consumer Mapping editor is displayed.

  6. Expand the consumer mapping node to list the operations.
  7. Select an operation.
  8. In the Details section, click the Browsebutton to select an operation mapping.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Save the consumer mapping.
  11. On the top right corner of the proxy editor window, click ( Activate ABAP Object) to activate consumer mapping.
