Creating Integration Scenario Definitions (ISD)

This option allows you to provide integration scenario definition details such as project, package, name, prefix, Enterprise Services name, and Enterprise Services Namespace.

Context

Procedure
  1. Access the Enterprise Services wizard. For information on using the wizard, see Accessing the Enterprise Services Wizard.
  2. Select Integration Scenario Definition.
  3. Click Next.

    The New Integration Scenario wizard appears.

  4. Enter the following details:
    • Package name
    • Name
    • SAP enterprise service (ES) Name
    • SAP enterprise service (ES) Namespace
    • Prefix, if required
  5. Proceed with the wizard and complete the task.

    The Integration Scenario editor is displayed.

  6. From the Palette, drag and drop the Semantic Contract object on the editor.

    The Select Semantic Contract window is displayed.

  7. Search for a Semantic Contract.

    The items matching the search criteria are listed.

  8. Select the required Semantic Contract.
  9. Click OK.

    The Semantic Contract is displayed on the ISD editor.

  10. From the Palette,drag and drop a Role object on the editor.
  11. Hover over the Role object to view (Create connection).
  12. Drag the icon to the required actor.
  13. Save the Integration Scenario Definition.
  14. From Project Explorer, select Integration Scenario Definition.
  15. In the context menu, select Activate.
