Creating Consumer Factories

This option allows you to provide consumer factory details such as project, package, name, Enterprise Services name, Enterprise Services Namespace, and prefix.

Procedure

  1. Access the Enterprise Services wizard. For information on using the wizard, see Accessing the Enterprise Services Wizard.
  2. Select Consumer Factory.
  3. Click Next.

    The New Consumer Factory wizard appears.

  4. Enter the following details:
    • Package name
    • Name
    • SAP enterprise service (ES) Name
    • SAP enterprise service (ES) Namespace
    • Prefix, if required
  5. Proceed with the wizard and complete the task.
  6. In the Semantic Contract section of the consumer factory editor, specify a semantic contract and an actor.
  7. In the Application/Consumer Proxy section specify the consumer that uses the consumer factory.
  8. Specify the sender, receiver method, and the user authentication required during runtime.
  9. Save the consumer factory.
  10. On the top right corner of the editor, click ( Activate ABAP Object) to activate the consumer factory.
