Selection of Quality Notifications

Use

You can also include quality notifications in the shift report. When a shift report is generated, the system selects the quality notifications that start or were created or changed within the evaluation period of the shift report and displays them in the shift report.

In the process, the system does not differentiate between manual creation of the quality notification by a user or automatic creation from an inspection lot .

Prerequisites

You have selected the Display Section checkbox for the list of quality notifications in the Content of Shift Report area in the Customizing activity Define Shift Report Type .

If necessary, you have defined the number of days in the past for the quality notifications in the Content of Shift Report area. By doing this, you can extend the evaluation period. If you specify a number of days in the past, you can exclude quality notifications with a certain status that lie in the past from the selection. You can exclude the quality notifications by specifying the desired status in the Status ex . field.This field can only be used in conjunction with the Number of Days in the Past field .

The system can only select quality notifications of the notification category 02.

The quality notification must not have been deleted.

Evaluation Period

You define the evaluation period in which quality notifications can be selected on the initial screen of the transaction Create Shift Report (SHR1). If you have previously stipulated the Number of Days in the Past in Customizing, the evaluation period is extended by this number of workdays. In this case, the system sets the starting time of the evaluation period to 0 hrs.

The system then selects all quality notifications that start or were created or changed within the evaluation period.

You have entered 1 day ín the Number of Days in the Past field and the status MMAB (notification completed) in the Status ex . field. As the evaluation period, you specify today's early shift (06 - 14 hrs).

Result:

The system selects the following quality notifications:

All quality notifications created or changed between 06 and 14 hrs, including those that have the status MMAB.

All quality notifications having the status MMAB and that were created or changed between 06 and 6 hrs today are excluded from selection. No quality notifications that were created yesterday are selected either, because you have excluded status MMAB from selection.

Reference to Work Center

The system selects only those quality notifications in the evaluation period that relate to the work center of the shift report. The work center must be entered either in the notification header or in a defect item of the quality notification.

The work center in the defect item is taken into account only if no work center has been entered in the notification header.

If a work center has also been entered in the notification header, this work center is used as selection criterion.

BAdI COCF_BD_SR_QM_SECTION

You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) COCF_BD_SR_QM_SECTION to influence the List of Quality Notifications section of the shift report.

Quality Notifications Section in Shift Report

The quality notifications are displayed in table in a separate section of the shift report. You can change the layout for this table, including the columns displayed, in Customizing for the Shift Report Type .
