Another option for active status confirmation is informing the sender of the status by mail. This function has the effect that the sender receives a message in their mail inbox informing them of the status of the document sent.

You specify whether and for which statuses a message is to be delivered using the parameter I_STATUS_MAIL of the method SET_STATUS_ATTRIBUTES of the class CL_BCS.
