Migration of Old Object Relationship Models

Use

To use the new relationship service, you have to transfer your old model data to the new model data. The relationship service provides a report for this purpose.

Process Flow

  1. The report provides the old model data of the relationship.

  2. The system checks whether the relevant roles have already been migrated. If necessary, the old role descriptions are transferred to the new model data.

  3. Using the migration matrix, the system checks whether the object types that have been assigned a role have already been migrated. If they have, the names of the busines classes are determined and the new model data is written. If not, the BOR Typ type is entered in the model data.

  4. Finally, the relationship is entered in the new model data with the relevant properties.
