Displaying Overlapping Validity Periods Listing

Use

You can run a simple report to show if there is an overlap between the validity period of a partner role assignment to a business location and the validity periods of any other business location assignments that may exist for this partner role.

Procedure

To use the overlapping validity periods listing function provided by the partner role assignment listing screen, proceed as follows:

  1. In the partner role listing select a line item that contains a reference to the business partner for which you wish to check for overlapping validity periods.

  1. Choose Display role.

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Overlapping Periods End of the navigation path .

  • If the system detects that other partner role assignments of this partner role exist and have validity periods that overlap the validity period of the current partner role assignment, these are displayed in a dialog box.

  • If no overlapping validity periods are found for the partner role assignment, an informational message confirms this.
