User-Defined Data for Business Locations

Use

Up to three general data screens are provided for the business location master record's maintenance transaction. By assigning your own subscreens to these screens, you can configure them to display fields that you have added to the business location master data table.

You can assign customer subscreens both at the business location type and the business type levels.

Activities

In the template delivered by SAP, only one of these general data screens is active. If you require additional screens to record characteristic data about the business location, you can enable the second and third screens in Customizing of the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream). To do this, choose Start of the navigation path SSR Next navigation step Business Location Master Data Control Data Set system control - general and top level End of the navigation path .

The contents of the additional screens have to be designed and coded by your own installation. For more information, see Definition of Characteristic Data Elements for Locations .

Use the screen configuration tool to customize the positions of screens and subscreens

Each subscreen corresponds to a data section. In Customizing of the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream), you activate user-defined subscreens by choosing Start of the navigation path SSR Next navigation step Business Location master data Control data Define customer End of the navigation path data sections .
