Displaying Dip Reading History Data

Use

You can display dip reading data for a specified location and time combination.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Service Station Retailing Next navigation step Bulk material Next navigation step handling Next navigation step Information system Next navigation step Stocks control Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

The Fuels dip readings: Stock report screen appears.

  1. Enter selection parameters. You can specify:

  • Locations

  • Time range

  • Type of dip reading

  • Display variant

  1. Choose Execute .

An overview of dip readings appears for each location and material and storage object appears. You can display:

  • A status indicator. This has three possible colors:

  • Green indicates that any difference between relative stocks and the dip reading is less than the warning tolerance.

  • Yellow indicates that the difference is greater than the warning tolerance but less than the error tolerance.

  • Red indicates that the difference is greater than the error tolerance.

  • Stock level data, including the:

  • Physical stock level (dip reading)

  • Book stock level at the time the dip reading was received

  • Current book stock level

  • Difference between the physical stock level (dip reading) and the current book stock level

  • Percentage deviation of physical stock level (dip reading) from the current book stock level:

Deviation = 100 * (difference / tolerance quantity)

The tolerance quantity is calculated as defined in the method that you specify in the Base qty. calc. filed of the processing profile.

  1. To display an individual dip reading record, double-click the relevant line in the list.
