Setting the Screen Call Control at Data Section Level

Process Flow

  1. You can define one subscreen for most of the main screens delivered by SAP for maintenance of SSR business location master data. You can control the subscreen utilization by client.

In Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) , you adjust the necessary settings by choosing Start of the navigation path SSR Next navigation step Business location master data Next navigation step Control Data Next navigation step Define customer data sections End of the navigation path .

  1. Depending on the business type relevance indicator set for the subscreen and for each individual field, you may have to set the lead business type. This step is required if you have a field that is specific to exactly one business type. You do this in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) by choosing:

  • Start of the navigation path SSR Next navigation step Business location master data Next navigation step Control Data Next navigation step Define lead business type per location master data section End of the navigation path

This defines the default screen activation settings for all new location types

  1. To define SSR subscreen activation for individual location types, you adjust the relevant settings in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) by choosing Start of the navigation path SSR Next navigation step Business Location master data Next navigation step Business Location Types Next navigation step Define business location type with screen configuration Next navigation step . For each subscreen, you can:

  • Define a set of available fields

  • Set defaults (mandatory field, display only, business type relevance) for these fields. These default field settings are independent of location type and business type, but you can use the screen configuration tool to overwrite them.
