Clearing Dip ReadingsYou can delete dip readings received from a location in the past. This may be necessary, for example, if the same readings have been received twice.
If dip readings have been used to create material documents, they can not be deleted.

Enter the:
Location ID
Date and time
SOC event
Choose
Enter
.
The following data is displayed:
Physical stock level (dip reading)
Book stock level at the time the dip reading was received
Difference between the physical stock level (dip reading) and current book stock level
Percentage deviation of physical stock level (dip reading) from the current book stock level.
Deviation = 100 * (difference / tolerance quantity)
The tolerance quantity is calculated as defined in the method that you specify in the
Base qty. calc.
field of the processing profile.
To delete the displayed data, choose
Save.
A message confirms that the dip readings have been deleted.
If clearing is not allowed, an error message appears and no deletion occurs.
If deletion is allowed, the selected dip readings are deleted from the dip reading history and from the Document Base Table (DBT) .
