Defining Material-Specific Processing Defaults

Use

You can define default processing values for specific materials. These definitions override those defined in the Processing Profile assigned to locations to which the material has been assigned.

You can define material-specific defaults for dip readings and logistics document creation.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Sales Next navigation step and Next navigation step Distribution Next navigation step Service Station Retailing Next navigation step Master Next navigation step data Next navigation step Material Next navigation step Processing Next navigation step defaults Next navigation step Maintain material-specific defaults. End of the navigation path

  2. The Display View "Processing profile": Overview screen appears.

  3. Mark the required processing profile and double-click Material defaults in the tree on the left.

  1. If no material-specific defaults have been created yet, the Change View "Material defaults": Overview screen appears. Choose New entries .

If material-specific defaults have been created, the Change View "Material defaults": details screen appears. Choose New entrie s.

The New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen appears

  1. Enter or select a material ID and then enter the appropriate default data.

  1. Save your entries.

The message Data was saved appears.

Result

The system uses the material-specific data when creating logistics documents from dip readings and meter readings. For more information, see Creation of Material Documents from Meter Readings and Creation of Material Documents from Dip Readings respectively.
