Displaying and Processing Dip Reading Errors

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Service Station Retailing Next navigation step Bulk material Next navigation step handling Next navigation step Dip readings Next navigation step List and process errors End of the navigation path .

The Fuels dip readings: Errors Maintenance screen appears

  1. Enter selection criteria as required and choose Execute .

A list of rejected dip readings appears.

The data that is displayed depends on your display variant settings. The default display shows:

  • Location ID

  • Local date and time

  • Type of reading (inage, outage or quantity)

  • Status:

  • Red indicates that you can not release the error. If this is the case, you can delete the error or reprocess the dip reading to try to solve the problem. For more information, see Dip Readings Reprocessing .

  • Yellow indicates that you can release the error

  • Material ID

  • Dip reading value

  • Description of error

  • Error code

  1. To display the screen for processing errors:

  • Use the tree on the left to navigate to a specific dip reading upload

or

  • Double-click the reading date

A list of rejected readings for the selected location and time combination appears.

  1. To process errors, select the appropriate line or lines of the Dip list table and:

  • Choose Unlock record to release the dip reading to the dip reading history

  • Choose Delete line to delete the dip reading

  1. Choose Save to update the status of the rejected readings.

The tree and list are displayed again. The corrected dip readings no longer appear in the error list.
