Master Data at the Business Type LevelAs certain business location master data is related to the type of business carried out at a business location, you enter such business-specific data at the business type level.

The following business location master data is displayed and maintained at the business type level:
Control data
Price control groups. For more information, see Assigning Price Control Groups to Business Locations .
Invoicing block indicator. You can set this indicator to stop automatic invoicing for this location (for example, during a changeover of partner). After setting the indicator, you define the period during which automatic invoicing should be stopped.
Competitor locations. For more information, see Assigning Competitor Locations to Business Locations .
Sales meters. For more information, see Assigning Meters to Business Locations .
The following business location master data can be maintained at both the general and business type levels:
Control data
Conversion group. This defines how the system converts field values received by or transmitted from interfaces to external systems. In Customizing for the

The ID of the logical system used to transfer data to the location.

If you define master data at both the general (that is, business location type) and business type levels, the definitions at the general level function as defaults. In processing that is linked to a business type, the definitions at business type level override definitions at the general level.
