Maintaining Dip Readings

Use

If dip readings cannot be received from service stations through the interface for dip reading upload, you can enter dip readings manually.

The system processes manually entered readings in the same way as dip readings uploaded from service stations. For more information, see Processing of Dip Readings .

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Service Station Retailing Next navigation step Bulk material Next navigation step handling Next navigation step Dip readings Next navigation step Maintain End of the navigation path .

The Fuels Dip Readings: Maintenance screen appears.

  1. Enter the following:

  • Location ID, date, and time to specify the location and time combination for which you want to maintain data.

  • The SOC event type, which determines the layout of the screen for manual entry of dip readings. The choices are L (Length- inage), O (Length – outage), and Q (Quantity).

  1. Choose Enter.

A list of the materials stored at the location appears. For quantity event types, the following data is displayed:

  • Material

  • Sequence number of the storage object

  • Physical stock

  • Unit of measure for linear/ volumetric conversion

  • Book stock

  1. Enter the volume as required, and save your entries.

  1. A message confirms that dip readings have been changed.
