Configuring Server Settings

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Central Management Console (CMC) in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
  2. Choose Server .
  3. Expand the Service Categories node and choose Advanced Analysis .
  4. Select the Adaptive Processing Server and choose Properties in the context menu (right mouse click).
  5. In BEx Web Applications Service under Configuration of the BEx Web Application Service , make the following settings:

    • Check (and change if necessary) the maximum number of client sessions.

    • Under SAP BW Master System , enter the name of the OLAP connection that you created in BusinessObjects Business Intelligence for the BW system. The default name is SAP_BW .

    • Enter the name of the JCo server RFC destination that you entered in the BW system under Configuration of RFC Connections (transaction sm59 ).

    • Enter the JCo server gateway host that you defined in the BW system under Configuration of RFC Connections (transaction sm59 ).

    • Enter JCo server gateway service that you defined in the BW system under Configuration of RFC Connections (transaction sm59 ).

    • Check (and change if necessary) the number of JCo server connections.

  6. Choose Save & Close .
