Creation of Price Planner Groups and Assignment of Users

Use

You create price planner groups to control the options for processing budgets in the Price Planning Workbench (PPW). You then assign the required users to the price planner groups.

Creating Price Planner Groups

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Retailing Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Price Planning Next navigation step Budgets Next navigation step Authorization Administration for Budget Access Next navigation step Edit Price Planner Groups.   1. Enter the price planner group and a description.

  2. Make the following settings for the approval procedure:

    • Under Approver Type , you specify how the system is to determine who will grant approval. The approver can be an individual, however, you can also determine groups of people using an organizational unit in the organizational plan.

    • Depending on the Approver Type , you enter who will be responsible for performing releases if the budget is exceeded under Approved by .

Assigning Users to Price Planner Groups

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Retailing Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Price Planning Next navigation step Budgets Next navigation step Authorization Administration for Budget Access Next navigation step Assign Users to Price Planner Group End of the navigation path .

Select the required price planner group and assign the users. You can assign a user to several price planner groups.
