Calculation of the Cumulative Budget
Use
At period-end closing, the report calculates the cumulative budgets and transfers the values to the next period. The cumulative budget transferred added to the planned budget forms the total budget for this period.
Prerequisites
To use the budget-managed view in the
Budget Monitor
of the
Price Planning Workbench
(PPW), you must have made the settings for budget planning.
Features
If you do not use the update of promotion budgets, the system transfers the blocked budget to the exhausted budget for budgets that belong to the promotion process.
The system calculates the cumulative budget from the planned budget and the exhausted budget, and transfers the value determined to the next period.
