Importing Processes from an External Repository into Process Composer
You use this procedure to import processes that are in an external repository such as the PowerDesigner repository. You import these processes to Process Composer to make them executable within SAP Business Process Management.
Context
SAP PowerDesigner is a graphical enterprise modeling solution supporting standard methodologies and notations and providing automated code-reverse engineering and generation through customizable templates. You can also use this solution to model various processes. You can implement processes modeled using external repositories such as the PowerDesigner repository through SAP Process Orchestration by importing them to Process Composer.

Create a Process Composer Development Component and choose the Process Development perspective. For more information, see Creating a Project.
Choose WindowShow ViewOtherSearch Console.

On the Results pane, select the process you want to import and drag it to the Processes node.
Alternatively, you can drag the process to the workspace or to an existing Process Composer Development Component.
You can maximize the process pane, format the diagram, and perform additional operations.
If the import fails, a log entry appears in the Error Log.
Results
The Import Log and the process model open. A new entry is created in the Processes node with the name of this imported process.
