This method is used to modify and remove navigation targets defined in the launchpad Customizing (Transaction LPD_CUST) and for adding new navigation targets. In addition, this method can inform the caller that certain targets are inactive. Inactive targets are displayed on the UI but are not active (grayed out). Once this method is called, the caller temporarily saves the call context, for example Config ID, Application Type and the current main UI record. After that, the method is only called again when the call context changes.
