On SAP NetWeaver Application Server for Java you develop applications with the following frameworks and tools

  • Web Dynpro Java is the SAP standard UI technology for developing Web applications in the SAP NetWeaver AS for Java environment. It consists of a runtime environment and a graphical development environment with eclipse-based Web Dynpro tools that are integrated in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS).

  • Visual Composer is a rapid application development modeling tool that enables code-free composition of UI elements, Enterprise Services and reusable components to rapidly create and adapt rich user interfaces. Visual Composer based applications can easily be deployed to the SAP Enterprise Portal.

  • To develop user interfaces, you can also use standard Java technologies such as JEE 5 or Java Server Faces.
