Configuring the Local System Landscape Directory

Context

If you want to run AEX in a high availability (HA) environment with a local System Landscape Directory (SLD), you have to change the local SLD configuration.

Procedure


  1. Go to Start of the navigation pathSLD Next navigation step AdministrationEnd of the navigation path, choose Start of the navigation pathDetails Next navigation step  Data SuppliersEnd of the navigation path, and change the gateway settings to <ms virtual host> and sapgw<instno> .

  2. Start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator and choose Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step Security Next navigation step  DestinationsEnd of the navigation path.

  3. Select the destination SLD_DataSupplier .

  4. Set the HTTP connection data to <virtual host>:<httpport> .

  5. Repeat step 4 for the destination SLD client .

Configuring ABAP SLD Client Systems

  1. Call ABAP transaction SLDAPICUST and set the HTTP connect data to <virtual host>:<httpport> .

  2. Call ABAP transaction RZ70 and change the gateway settings to <ms virtual host> and sapgw<instno> .
