Configuring Message Archiving for the Advanced Adapter Engine

Procedure

To enable message archiving for the Advanced Adapter Engine, the following configuration steps are required for the XML Data Archiving Service (DAS) of AS Java.

1. Create an XML DAS Administration destination.

   Use the Destinations function in SAP NetWeaver Administrator to create an HTTP destination for XML DAS Administration.

2. Define the archive store.

   Open the XML DAS Administration as a browser application by using the address and logon data you maintained in the destination created in the previous step.

3. Synchronize and display the home path of archiving sets.

   When you synchronize the Home Path of archiving sets, specify the following ones, using the SYSID of your AS Java installation:

   • /<SYSID>/xi_af_msg/
   • /<SYSID>/xi_af_uds_msg/
   • /<SYSID>/xi_iv_dh_msg/
   • /<SYSID>/xi_af_ack_msg/
   • /<SYSID>/xi_sec/

   Select the archive store that you defined in the previous step.
