General Prerequisites

If you want to use automatic supply-to-production, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

  • You must have activated the interface PP-WM in Warehouse Management for the replenishment of fixed storage bins .

    To do this go to Customizing and choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Execution Next navigation step Warehouse Management Next navigation step Interfaces Next navigation step Define Production Next navigation step Warehouse Management View Next navigation step Warehouse Number End of the navigation path .

    Select the field PP interface active for your warehouse number.

  • The shift sequence is generally used for the time calculation in automatic supply-to-production. This shift sequence is assigned to the control cycle by the scheduling profile.You maintain this shift sequence in Customizing, under Start of the navigation path Logistics Execution Next navigation step JIT Outbound Next navigation step Control Profiles Next navigation step Define Time Definition. End of the navigation path .If you do not maintain this shift sequence, the system uses the factory calendar which is based on a shift sequence of 24 hours per day without weekends and public holidays.
