Providing User for XML DAS Data Archiving

Context

If you use XML Data Archiving Service (XML DAS) to archive data for an application system, you need the following user types:

  • Communications user for the connection between the application system and XML DAS

  • Administration user for logging on to XML DAS administration (including Java Archiving Cockpit )

Procedure

  1. In the AS Java on which XML DAS runs, call up the user administration.
  2. Create each required user with the corresponding security policy and roles.

  3. Optional: If you want to equip the user with read access) to XML DAS Administration and Java Archiving Cockpit , create these with the following roles:
