Registering the Store in XML DAS Administration

Prerequisites

You have provided an archive store and granted XML DAS access to it.

Context

To be able to use a store for data archiving with XML DAS , you need to register it in XML-DAS Administration .

Procedure


  1. On the AS Java that runs XML DAS , start SAP NetWeaver Administrator (NWA) .

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathOperations Next navigation step Data and Databases Next navigation step XML DAS AdministrationEnd of the navigation path.

  1. In XML DAS Administration , choose the Storage Administration tab page.

  2. Choose Define .

  3. Enter the following data in the open table line :

    Selecting the storage type: File System or WebDAV-System

    Selection of the connection between AS Java (XML DAS) and the WebDAV Server defined in NWA

    This is required only if the WebDAV server is part of the network that is accessible via a proxy server.

    Status

    Result of the test function. Shows the availability of the storage location.

  4. Choose OK .

    After you have confirmed the entry with OK , the system checks the availability of the story and displays the relevant status in the status column. You can also use the fest function at any time to check the availability of the store.
