Migrate Workflow Definitions and Decision Options

To be able to use your configurations of Workflow Settings for SAP Gateway in TCM OData Provider, execute migration report RSWF_MIGRATE_CUST_CONFIG.

The report RSWF_MIGRATE_CUST_CONFIG provides an option for automatic replication of workflow steps and decision options configurations and their text translations from Workflow Settings for SAP Gateway to the OData Provider for Business Workflow configuration.

These configurations are maintained as follows:

  • For SAP Gateway: Configuration in Start of the navigation pathSPRO transaction  Next navigation step Gateway Service enablement  Next navigation step Content Next navigation step IMG Activity Workflow settingsEnd of the navigation path

You can start the migration report by calling the transaction SWF_TCM_MIGR_CFG.

The report interface gives you the opportunity of restricting the set of data to be migrated by choosing between different options.

Select Migration Context depending on the configurations that you want to migrate:

  • All Customer Configurations - migration of workflow steps, decision options, and available text translations

  • Workflow Definitions - migration of workflow steps and available text translations

  • Decision Options - migration of decision options and available text translations

  • None - deletion of workflow settings in the source database

Select a Migration Mode:

  • Delete migrated data - deletion of workflow settings in the source database; Depending on the selected Migration Context different content of the migrated data will be deleted.

  • Simulation Only - Displays all the workflow definition and decision option configurations that you have selected to migrate. Execution is started in simulation mode and no data is replicated.

Click Execute (or F8) to confirm the migration with the selected options.
