Modify a Card Account in Manage Accounts

Before you begin - refer to the feature access and permissions information.

When modifications to an existing card account are required, use the Modify button to open the selected Individual, Lodge, or Diversion account and perform the changes. Modification is limited to users within the card administrator's Group.

Changing the Payment Type on an Active Report with Assigned Card Charges

You cannot modify the payment type of a card account for any active report with assigned card charges. The report must complete workflow and reach an inactive, Paid status before the payment type can be modified.

To modify a card account:

  1. In the Manage Accounts page, enter the appropriate search criteria to locate an employee or card by its last (4-digit) segment number, then click Search.

  2. Select a record from the rows that display.

  3. Click the Modify button - the Modify Card Account dialog box appears.

  4. Edit the values as needed to change the name on the account (Individual) or description (Lodge & Diversion), payment type, clearing account code, or effective start date.

  5. Click Save to save your changes.
