Search Path Tab
Use
The Search Path tab page is used to define and select the folders through which the application searches for associated files when opening AutoCAD files. For example, if a file has a related drawing, the application searches through the user-defined paths to find those files.
Search paths are selected by default when added to the search paths list. You can clear the search path check boxes to prevent searching through the related paths. You can also define search paths as recursive. This action prompts the application to search through all subfolders of the related search path when searching for AutoCAD referenced files. Any changes you make are applied the next time you restart the application.
