Creating Views for an ABAP Services Registry

Procedure

Views are used to control access to the Services Registry.

1. In SOA Manager (transaction code SOAMANAGER), on the Services Registry tab, choose Services Registry.

2. On the Views tab, choose Create.

   You can either use the wizard or carry out the following steps on the different tabs.

3. Specify a name, a description, and a long text.

4. Specify a filter for classifications and/or Web service names.

5. Specify which users can access the Web services defined by the filter criteria. For each user, specify the actions they can carry out (read, write, delete).

   Multiple users can be assigned to a view and a user can be assigned to multiple views.

6. Save and activate the view.

Result

Your view has been created and activated. Active views are processed when published and when searching inside a Services Registry to authorize the intended operation on a Web Service.
