Publishing Web Services to the Services Registry
Prerequisites
A connection to the Services Registry has been set up and configured.
Context
To publish services to a Services Registry, you have to define publication rules. A publication rule can consist of a set of service definitions and classifications. If no publication rule is configured for a Services Registry, no services are published. In this case, you assign the publication rule to a Services Registry and activate this assignment.
Service definitions are published together with bindings in the Services Registry as soon as they are configured in SOA Manager. When service bindings are created, updated, or deleted in the back-end system, information about the service bindings is automatically published to the Services Registry in accordance with the active publication rules.
