Pull Apart Mode

Use

You can use the Pull Apart tool to manually select objects from directly within the scene, and pull them apart from the model. It is possible to return to the previously saved view by clicking Home Position, either for a single object, or for all objects.

Activities

Pulling Apart Selected Objects

Using the Tool Assistant, select Pull Apart or choose Pull Apart on the 3D Editor toolbar. Select the objects that you want to move and drag the object to the required position within the scene.

Returning All Objects to the Previously Saved View

Ensure that no objects in the scene are selected and do one of the following:

  • Using the Tool Assistant, choose Home Position

  • Choose Home Position on the 3D Editor toolbar

Returning a Single Object to the Previously Saved View

Select the object that you wish to return to the home position and do one of the following:

  • Using the Tool Assistant, choose Home Position

  • Choose Home Position on the 3D Editor toolbar
