Rich Text Window

Use

You can use the Rich Text window to create formatted information in the scene. You can also edit the settings for rich text in the Tool Assistant.

As with standard notes, you can add URLs, steps, or model view links into any note created using the Text tool.

Features

The following functions are available from the Rich Text window. Note that there are some standard Windows-style formatting functions, and as such they are not described here.

Fields	Functional Description
Background Color	Selects a background color
Border Color	Selects a border color
Insert Symbol	Selects a symbol to insert in the note. Standard: A selection of standard symbols GD&T: A selection of ANSI Y14.5M GD&T symbols Drafting: A selection of ANSI Y14.5M drafting symbols
Hyperlink	Used to define any links that are attached to the note. Following are the different fields and descriptions: URL: Enter a URL address to attach to the note. Model View: Link to a specific model view. Step: Link to a particular step.
Insert Recent Text	Selects a string of previously used text
Text Field	Used for freeform text entry for the note
