LOD Tab Page
Use
You can import LOD information for files that store it. There are models of different details provided in the file, and the renderer selects the one to be displayed, based upon the distance of the model from the viewer. The further away the model is, the less detailed it needs to be, as small details would be unlikely to display because of the distance. The renderer attempts to pick a model with fewer details (effectively fewer polygons). If it is up close, the renderer will attempt to pick a detailed one.
