Illustration Toolbar

Use

You can use the Illustration toolbar to render images in either raster or vector form.

Features

Using the toolbar you can perform the following actions:

Toolbar Option

Functional Description
Raster Illustration

Creates a raster illustration for the current scene and saves to various raster file formats. Scenes are either rendered directly to the active viewport or saved to file based on the settings established using the Properties window.
Vector Illustration

Creates a vector illustration for the current scene and saves it to various vector file formats.
Select Illustration Line

Selects illustration lines in the scene
Erase Illustration Lines

Erases illustration lines in the scene
Restore Illustration Lines

Displays all erased lines in the scene and allows them to be restored

Activities

To open the toolbar, perform one of the following:

  • On the Menu bar, choose Start of the navigation pathWindow Next navigation step Toolbars Next navigation step IllustrationEnd of the navigation path

  • Right-click menu bar and choose Illustration

  • In the Customize Layout window choose Toolbars and select Illustration check box
