Measurements Toolbar

Use

You can use the Measurements toolbar to measure the distance, or angle, between two elements in a scene, or within a single element, and modify the measurement properties. To edit the global settings for measurements, use the Measurement Tool with the Tool Assistant (see Tool Assistant)

Features

Using the toolbar you can perform the following actions:

Toolbar Option	Functional Description
	Measures a single object element or the distance between two object elements
	Measures the angle between two object elements
	Displays or hides measurements
	Multiplies the scene’s scale by a specific coefficient along each axis
	Calculates surface area using the model's current measurement unit
	Calculates volume using the model's current measurement unit

Activities

To open the toolbar, do one of the following:

• On the Menu bar, choose Window  Toolbars  Measurements

• Right-click the menu bar and choose Measurements

• In the Customize Layout window choose Toolbars and select the Measurements check box
