Window Menu

Use

The Window menu is used to view and change the display of the application interface in a number of ways including displaying toolbars, different File list views, messages, animation controls, and the timeline.

Menu Option

Functional Description

Toolbars

Shows and hides the toolbars, and customizes the user interface components (see Toolbars).

Panels

Shows and hides the controls, file lists, and scene components information panels, and customizes the user interface components

File and Folders Explorer

Shows and hides the Folders, Search panels the History and Favorites lists, and the File list tab pages

Status Bar

Displays or hides the status bar

Sort File List

Arranges the file icons in the File list

Refresh File List

Refreshes the File list display

Reload File

Reloads the current file in the viewport

Messages

Opens the Messages window to display status, warning, and error messages relating to the current file

Zoom Active Viewport

Switches between the active single viewport and the multiple viewport layout

Zoom to Alternate Monitor

Switches the viewport to a second monitor if one is connected to the same computer. All other user interface elements are displayed on the first monitor.

Full-Screen Mode

Displays the entire viewport across your monitor in Full-screen display mode

Always on Top

Specifies that SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author is placed over all windows and stays above them, even when the application is deactivated
