Importing CAD Files from Session

Context

You can create a new document and import the associated original from SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author to SAP PLM.

Procedure

  1. Create a new file, or open an existing local file.
  2. Choose Import CAD Files from Session into New Documentsl from the ECTR toolbar.
  3. Note the import scope in the Import On-Demand window, and select the single file.
  4. Confirm the import by choosing OK.

Results

The file is imported to SAP and the original is displayed in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author.
