Vector Illustration Window
Use
You can use the Vector Illustration window to render a scene as a vector illustration.
Features
The following functions are available from the Vector Illustration window.
Fields |
Functional Description |
|---|---|
File |
Displays the location and name under which the illustration is saved. |
Browse |
Used to select the location and name for the saved illustration |
Format |
Used to select the format in which you want to save the illustration. The options that display in both this window and the advanced settings window differ depending on the file format selected.
Thickness |
Determines the thickness of rendered lines and boundaries
Tolerance Angle (degrees) |
Determines the degree of angle tolerance for all rendered outlines. If the angle between two adjacent faces is greater than this value, then the edge between these faces is treated as an outline edge |
Calculate Intersections |
Draws lines along all face-face intersections. Vectors are normally calculated using triangle edges. If the lines of intersection fall outside of triangle edges where geometry or objects intersect each other, this option can be used to calculate the triangle intersections and output them as vectors. |
Show as Wireframe |
Causes all edges to be treated as outline edges. The tolerance angle setting becomes redundant when this is selected |
Output Size |
Used to specify the illustration's size and orientation when printed.
Colors |
Used to select the colors to use in the illustration
BOM |
Used to determine if and where the BOM is placed on the illustration
