Mesh Select Right-Click Menu

Use

The Mesh Select right-click menu contains commands for controlling mesh selection. This menu appears when you right-click an object after selecting a mesh selection option from the Mesh Select toolbar. The available commands differ, depending on the current mesh selection option.

Features

The following options are available from the menu:

Menu Options	Functional Description
Tools	Controls the selected mesh elements; for example, inverting faces. The available tools differ, depending on the current mesh selection option.
Select by ID	Selects all faces on the object with the specified Part ID. Note This option is available only when the current mesh selection option is set to Select Polygon.
Invert Selection	Inverts the mesh selection on all objects
Select All	Selects all mesh elements (depending on current mesh selection option) on all objects
Select None	Clears all mesh selections
Select Faces with Same Material	Selects all faces on the object that share the same material. This option does not affect other face selections. Note This option is available only when the current mesh selection option is set to Select Polygon, Select Surface, or Select Separate Mesh Element.
Deselect Faces with Same Material	Deselects all faces on the object that share the same material. This option does not affect other face selections. Note This option is available only when the current mesh selection option is set to Select Polygon, Select Surface, or Select Separate Mesh Element.
Select Back Faces	Prevents faces from the other side of the object being selected, when doing a mesh selection. If checked, back faces (polygons facing away from the camera) can be selected. Note This option is available only when the current mesh selection option is set to Select Polygon, Select Surface, or Select Separate Mesh Element.
Separate Selected Faces	Separates the selected faces from the rest of the object and creates an object from the selection. Note This option is available only when the current mesh selection option is set to Select Polygon, Select Surface, or Select Separate Mesh Element.
Delete Selected Faces	Deletes the selected faces from the object. Note This option is available only when the current mesh selection option is set to Select Polygon, Select Surface, or Select Separate Mesh Element.
