Merge Options Window
Use
You can select a model to drag and drop into an existing scene, either straight into the viewport window or into the Scene tree window. If this is done using the drag and right-click option, it displays the Merge Options window. This window asks you to indicate the way in which you wish to merge the new model, or object, into the existing model or scene.
The following assumptions are made:
-
The new object structure is a replacement for the selected one
-
Geometric meshes will be swapped but the materials will be reattached
-
The animations will be reattached
-
If there is extra geometry in the new object, it will be added
-
If there is missing geometry then it will be removed
