Importing Tabbed .TXT File

You can export selected metadata to the *.txt file, then edit or add metadata, and import it back to the system.

A check is performed to ensure that SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author imports the same scene. The top level/Scene ID is checked, and if it does not match, a warning message is displayed - Warning import data top level identifier does not match the current scene. Would you like to continue? Yes/No. If you choose to continue, import will occur for matches that it finds. An import log is optionally displayed, that specifies the updated objects and the objects that could not be matched.
