Use

You can use the Output Size tab page in the Step Properties window to control output options for a selected step or steps.

Functional Description

Use Default

Use the default paper size for a step. No output size settings are available.

Preset

Selects a preset paper size for a step. Select a standard size from the dropdown menu, or select Custom.

Output Size

Selects the resolution and output size to use. You can specify the unit of measurement in pixels, centimeters, millimeters, inches, picas, or points.

  • Width: Select a width for the paper.

  • Height: Select a height for the paper.

  • Resolution: Determines the resolution of the image or how many pixels are defined in the boundary of a square inch, when displaying the step. Resolution is expressed as pixels per inch (PPI). The higher the number, the greater the resolution.

Orientation

Controls the orientation of the step

  • Portrait: Select to display the step with a portrait orientation.

  • Landscape: Select to display the step with a landscape orientation.

Margins (millimeters)

Controls the margin settings in millimeters for left, right, top, and bottom margins

Set as Default

Uses the selected settings as a default output size when a step is created
